V. Renee Karel

Renee Karel Renee Karel was raised in Idaho and graduated from Meridian High School.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree with an Education major, and minors in Biology and English from Walla Walla College.

Renee received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2012. During law school, she interned with the Ada County Public Defenderís office, and the University of Idaho College of Law, Small Business Clinic. Additionally, she was a member of the Board of Student Advocates, participating in both the Duberstein bankruptcy Moot Court and the National Moot Court competitions. Before establishing her law career, Renee worked in varied areas of Elementary Education and as a Financial Advisor, and later a business owner in the Financial Services industry.

Prior to joining the firm, Renee had been a solo practitioner in the areas of family law and mediation, civil litigation, business law, and criminal defense.

Renee lives in Eagle, Idaho and spends her free time with her husband, three children, and their pets, which include a golden retriever, two cats, a hamster, and two fish.
